A dog! (vaccinated, not raw fed, flea & wormed etc) and who doesn't have any major behavioural or emotional issues or reactivity.
A variety of dog toys.2 of each of the same toy (same colour, size & type). You will need toys your dog can tug. You will need toys your dog can fetch.
2 platforms This doesn't need to be anything fancy you could use yoga blocks, exercise step, WII fit board, board game boxes etc. | ![]() A PC, laptop or high spec tablet which will allow access to circle and video conferencing. For PC's you'll need a plug in webcam as well.
A boundary. This could be a dog bed, raised bed, a crate, a pen, car boot, a roll mat, or anything with clear edge/ outline that your dog's comfortable on.
6 plastic (or similar strength, non shatter, dog safe biodegradable) cups or bowls |
Flat collar, 1.2m lead and low profile harness. No head collars, choke or pong collars, training cords or equipment which tightens when a dog pulls.
A pet first aid kit. This will need to containing at least a card with your nearest vet, insurance provider & policy number, vet wrap, dressing and bandage.
Long line. We recommend a 5m long line. We DO NOT recommend extendable leads. |
A pouch or bag to hold treats in hands free and on your body or wheelchair and a variety of dog treats (This could include soft feed in a tube/dispenser)
A muzzle FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY! This is to protect you, your dog and the public incase they're severely injured while training/ working.
Optional Target stick (I often use a short horse whip instead) Clicker (which reliably gives your dog a 'correct' marker. |
