Majority of our clients have a communication difference such as selective mutism or communicating via alternative methods like Makaton or tactile signing. 

We can support communication through assistance dogs by:

• the dog passing letters from handler to other people
• fetching and passing AAC device
• performing  tasks on AAC cues e.g. switch controlled blanket off
• dog trained to press speech switches to share what the human is signing/gesturing to the dog
